Established in the early 1900s, Shardlow Village Hall has a rich history rooted in the community. Constructed using bricks reclaimed from demolished greenhouses in the surrounding fields, the hall was officially designated as the Village Hall for Shardlow residents in 1970. A volunteer committee was formed to manage the hall, very similar to what is still operating today. While the original structure remains unchanged, the hall has undergone numerous adaptations and extensions over the years to meet the evolving needs of the community. Since becoming the Village Hall, it has served as a central hub for events and gatherings, playing a vital role in village life.
The hall is available to hire seven days a week and, is a great space to host a diverse range of activities, including community events, meetings, celebrations, or space for local groups.
