At the heart of its community, Elstead Village Halls are situated in a picturesque Surrey village situated just off the A3; only 3 miles from Godalming and 3½ miles from Farnham. Run as a charity by locals for the benefit of the wider community, Elstead Village Halls are a great venue for all types of events.
We have two adjacent halls: the larger and higher Village Hall and The Youth Centre. Both enjoy double glazed windows and modern entrance doors with electronic locks, easy disabled access with designated disabled toilets, and chairs/tables/crockery etc. included in the hire charge.
Both halls are fully licensed by Waverley Borough Council. Under the terms of our licence we regret that we are unable to hire the halls for teenage birthday parties and the like; and that all children's parties must have at least 1 adult to 8 children ratio.
Elstead Village Hall is ideal for wedding receptions, dances, parties and events. It is currently also used for dog training classes, quiz nights, exercise classes, table top sales, antiques fairs, a school, charity events, meetings of local organisations, amateur dramatics, public meetings and community activities.
Elstead Youth Centre is ideal for sports activities and community events. It is currently also used for cycling club meets, exercise classes, ballet classes, sewing groups, and community activities such as Guides and Scouts, and charity events.
