About Apperley Village Hall

Apperley Village Hall is a large, modern, well equipped village hall.  It is situated in Sawpit Lane Apperley GL19 4DP on land adjacent to the playing fields and children's playground on the edge of Apperley village.  The hall offers excellent facilities for parishioners and for anyone wishing to hire the hall for a function. There are many regular activities providing lots for all to do.

Payment
We accept payment by Debit Card and Bank Transfer. Details will be provided once a booking is confirmed and invoice issued. 
 

The Main Hall

• The Main Hall has a capacity of 150 people with chairs and tables.
• Hatch to the kitchen.
• Small stage
• Sound system
• Projector may be available at additional charge of £10 per session
• Outside hard surface play area, accessed by doors in main hall

Kitchen

• Crockery and cutlery
• 6 Burner Commercial Gas Cooker
• Two double sinks
• Kettle
• Microwave oven
• Hot water urn
• Commercial Dishwasher
• Limited glasses (you may wish to bring your own depending on function)

Dont forget to bring the following items with you

• Washing up liquid and cloths etc
• Dish cloths
• Towels

The Annexe (Woodthorpe Room)

• The Annexe has a capacity of 50 people.
• Projector may be available at additional charge of £10 per session

Car Parking

• There is free parking for approximately 50 cars, which is shared with other users of the grounds, such as sports, tennis and children's playground. 
• No parking is permitted on the grass.

Disabled Access

• The village hall is situated on flat ground facilitating easy access
• Disabled Toilet within the foyer area

Additional Facilities

• Baby changing facilities
• Separate Male and Female toilets
• Changing rooms  and showers
• Free Fast Fibre Wi-Fi access, courtesy of Gigaclear.  www.gigaclear.com The current access code is shown on noticeboard.

Changing Room (for use with Outdoor Activities)

• For use when booked in association with separate outdoor activities booking (see below).
• Access is via a separate door at the left front of main building.
• There is no interconnecting door to the main building, and no access is granted to main building.
• Refer to floorplan for further information on layout, including changing room, shower area, sports officials area, and single toilet.

Playing Field Bookings

• Please note that we do not handle bookings for the use of the playing fields

Tennis Court (Members Only)

• The court is open to Annual Subscription Membership Only, as unfortunately there is no facility for payment of ad hoc hourly hire. Annual Renewals are due 1st April.
